Possible Flammulated Owl

The photographers are Ed and Gwen Alexander, who are Florida Park Service volunteers during the winter; they live in Ontario. The pic was taken 2 or 3 winters ago at St. George Island State Park, Franklin County, in the Florida panhandle. The observers noted that the eyes of the owl were dark.
